Ryan Traslavina

Ryan is a Long Island native and 2010 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from Cornell, Ryan completed a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of California, Davis and CNPRC in 2013 with boards. Besides diagnostics, Ryan has been heavily integrated in research support for the government and academic institutions including the National Institutes of Health and Fort Detrick. He has published over 16 peer-reviewed scientific articles. Ryan is a Veterinary Corps Officer (VCO) in the United States Army. As an Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA), Ryan supports the warfighter and military working dogs downrange through research. Ryan has special interests in neuropathology, infectious diseases, laboratory and exotic animal pathology and primatology. Ryan joined ANTECH in 2015 and has lived throughout the country during this time. In his free time, Ryan enjoys running, fishing and spending time with his family and pets.
