Panleukopenia Vaccinal Titer

Code

Results
3-5 Days
Country
CA
Container
Serum in red top or serum separator
Specimen
0.5 mL serum
Description
This test detects IgG antibodies against the Feline Panleukopenia virus (also known as Feline Parvovirus). This test is done at a dilution of 1:5 only. No endpoint titer is performed. Results are reported as positive (a titer of greater than 1:5) or negative (a titer of less than 1:5). A titer of 1:5 or greater in a well, previously vaccinated cat indicates that a humoral immunologic response to vaccination is present.

Panleukopenia Vaccinal Titer Add-On

Code
CADD280
Results
3-5 Days
Country
CA
Container
Serum in red top or serum separator

0.5 mL serum
Description
The test detects IgG antibodies against Panleukopenia via Immunofluorescent antibody assessment (IFA). A titer of 1:5 or greater, in the absence of clinical signs of disease, indicates an immunological response to vaccination. A vaccine titer of less than 1:5 indicates a low level of circulating antibodies.
