Casar Piedra-Mora

Dr. Piedra-Mora grew up in the tropical climates of Costa Rica where he attended veterinary school at the National University and develop a love for pathology. After graduating, he worked for one year in small animal emergency medicine before packing his bags and going to Massachusetts to complete his residency at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, where he developed an interest in dermatopathology and liver pathology. He currently lives in upstate New York with his wife and their 4-legged kids: two cats (Thistle and Mac) and one dog (Sweet Baby Peanut). In his spare time, he has an unhealthy obsession with video games and Magic: the Gathering, but also enjoys riding his bike and spending time with his family.
