Andrea Vanderpool

Andrea earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University in 2004. After 11 years in small animal private practice, she returned to Purdue to complete her pathology residency and also earned a Master of Science in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology. Andrea went on to achieve board certification in 2018. She joined the Anatomic Pathology group at ANTECH Diagnostics and works from the Indianapolis office. Andrea is a proud member of ACVP and AVMA. Her special interests include hepatopathology, oncologic pathology and gastrointestinal pathology. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at Western University of Health Sciences/College of Veterinary Medicine and a proud member of the Antech hepatopathology team. She especially enjoys communicating with clinicians to solve challenging cases. In her free time, Andrea enjoys running, reading and spending time with her husband, four daughters and sweetheart of a dog, Luna.
